World War II
Research Report and E-Book
History 8
H. Bristol, Spring 2016
We are about to embark on a detailed research project into some of the many aspects of World War II and its resolution. Students will be assigned an individual or topic to study. For this project each student will research, refine, and focus on that topic, while keeping a record of all written and electronic sources for his/her bibliography.
As students better determine what they would like to present, they will each create a working outline of their report. This is to be an active document that will build up throughout the research process. This outline will be submitted and approved with the teacher. The written report will not be written before approval of the outline.
Upon approval of the outline, students may then (and only then) begin to write their report (2-4 pages). Each report must include an original illustration (Tracing is okay) and their bibliography.
Final layout will be determined by a volunteer team of students who will assist in the e-publishing of these reports in book form. This team of students, from both Bristol History sections, will meet (Tuesday, resource) with Mr. Bristol and/or Mr. Atkeson.
