From Your Teachers

Congratulations! You are about to become an expert in a Colonial topic. There are so many areas of focus. 

Over the next 5 weeks, you will be responsible to Plan, Do, and Review and for:

  • Selecting a topic
  • Researching using both print and online resources
  • Asking and answering questions you have
  • Taking informed clear notes about your research
  • Using your time effectively to meet all the deadlines

       This project is exciting, challenging and informative. Your teachers can’t wait to work with each of you!

Research Tips

Doing research is like a treasure hunt!  Plan, Do, and Review helps you find the treasure!  There are lots of books and sites with information about your topic.  You will need to use books, PDS online resources, and websites listed on this LibGuide.  There might be a book that is only about your colonial topic, but you might have to look in the Index and Table of Contents of more than one book.  Remember to use Plan, Do, Review!
