THESIS STATEMENTS & OUTLINES
Your thesis statement should be created AFTER you have consulted several sources, collected evidence, and made connections that will support an argument. Your working thesis will likely be revised as you conduct more research and narrow your focus.

Your outline presents your thesis, arguments, supporting evidence, and conclusions in a simple, logical format. Organizing your work in an outline allows you to assess your arguments and find gaps in research.
